Training workshops are for anyone who has a curiosity for bumble bees and flowers, and an interest in contributing to an important community science project that will provide a better understanding of the status of Nebraska's native bumble bees.

2020 Field Days

Field Days are open to anyone participating, or interested in participating, and provide an opportunity to practice survey techniques alongside one of our experts. There will be recurring Field Days in both Lincoln and Omaha this season. Following the workshops, late-summer Field Days will be scheduled in central and western Nebraska as well.

No registration required.

  • Sampling Supplies (net, vials, camera/phone, data sheets)
  • Any Questions
  • Water, Snack, Sunscreen
